How StormTunnel Connects

StormTunnel starts an AWS Session Manager port-forwarding session through an EC2 instance managed by Systems Manager. The instance must be able to reach the private RDS endpoint or internal service. Your local database client connects to localhost.

SSH tunnels are also supported for existing environments. See Creating tunnels.
